Hardware cloth

Hardware cloth is made of low carbon steel wire and then welded into fabric with rectangular or square meshes. At last, the hardware cloth fabric will be hot dipped galvanized to improve the corrosion and rust resistance performance. Mostly, the welded wire mesh is hot dipped galvanized, it can also be PVC coating for special applications.

The hardware cloth has thinner wire diameter and extreme small mesh sizes, which is regarded as the highest class protection for poultry. It can prevent poultry from poking their heads through the holes, it can also prevent rabbit from biting hardware cloth. Moreover, the small opening can defend the predators from attacking the poultry.
Hardware cloth can not only be used as coop for chicken, duck goose and other poultry, it can also be used for rearing rabbit, guinea pig and other small animals.
When you install the hardware cloth, you should bury at least 10 inches or extend outside at least 12 inches to prevent predators in and poultry out.
